New features for pipe clamps enable use of self tapping screws to be used in conjunction with rechargeable drill. A dimpled hole allows easy insertion of the screw. A rounded tab bends down over the tip of the screw protection people from the sharp point. The use of a retainer clip allows installation in the open side of a strut channel. These features along with the inclusion of dimpled holes in strut channels allow almost exclusive use of one size of screw and power driver to install conduits and pipes.

Tabbed cutouts make use of straps for hanging items simple and flexible. Strapping can quickly be hooked to support a load, then quickly adjusted as needed. Most existing pipe clamps can be used on this strut channel.
